HP Connectivity Pack

The HP Connectivity Pack includes desktop PC versions of most of the built-in PIM applications of the HP 100/200LX. In addition, a program to merge, synchronize and translate Phone Book and Appointment Book files is included, as well as Laplink Remote Access and a program to synchronize Pocket Quicken with DOS or Windows Quicken (up to version 4.x; Quicken for Windows 5.x or higher is not supported) on the desktop PC.

The HP Connectivity Pack contains a serial cable and the serial adapter kit.

System requirements: The HP Connectivity Pack requires a desktop computer with at least a 286 processor, DOS 3.31 or higher, and EGA display.

The following commercial software products have been developed especially for the HP 100/200LX by independent software vendors, and are still available. For freeware and shareware products, please have a look at out essential palmtop links page.

acCIS 4.0

CompuServe Navigator and Offline Reader

The acCIS 4.0 CompuServe Navigator has been developed by Rundel Datentechnik. More information about the product, screen shots, upgrade and update information is available on the acCIS Web site.

WWW/LX 3.x

Internet Suite for E-Mail, News, and Web

WWW/LX is a very sophisticated software suite which consists of a Web browser to access the Internet, and software to send and receive E-Mail, use Telnet and FTP and much more. We don't sell WWW/LX any more, but we believe that it is one of the most important applications for the HP 100/200LX and therefore advertize it on this prominent place. Quick/LX

The Typing Assistant

Quick/LX learns the words you type most often, then suggests them after you type just a few characters. The suggestions are displayed in a box on the screen. You can ignore the suggestion and keep on typing, or accept it with the press of a single key, and Quick/LX will finish the word. Quick/LX can also be used to correct your most common typos! Quick/LX works in programs under the System Manager and in text-mode DOS applications. Quick/LX can even be used to enter Macros that work in both the System Manager and DOS (unlike the built-in System Macros).

TimeTracker/LX

Where has your time gone?

With TimeTracker/LX you can make tracking your time easy. These are some of the features of this easy to use program which was designed exclusively for the HP Palmtops:

	Look-and-feel of the built-in applications, therefore easy to learn and use.
	Track starting and ending times, duration, activity type, client, and projects.
	Many ways to view the collected information.
	Report facility for presenting the data, with several report templates included.
	Export to Lotus 1-2-3 or to word processors (in RTF).

Magnify!

The Virtual Magnifying Lens

Magnify! is a program which simulates a magnifying lens on the palmtop. The lens can be activated by the press of a hotkey, and then it can be moved over the display to magnify for example a phone number, address, or any other data. The magnification factor can be adjusted individually.

Magnify! is shipped on a 3.5" disk and comes with a printed user's manual.

ABC/LX

Advanced Battery Charging System

The battery charging algoritm of the HP 200LX is optimized for NiCd batteries. However, the newer NiMH batteries have higher capacity and don't develop a memory effect, but can't be charged efficiently in the palmtop. ABC/LX, which is now copyrighted freeware, helps around this limitation.

Shareware CD-ROM

This CD-ROM contains more than 1000 shareware and freeware programs for Hewlett-Packard calculators and palmtops:

	HP 48S/SX
	HP 48G/GX
	HP 95LX
	HP 100LX
	HP 200LX
	HP OmniGo 700LX

The CD-ROM contains a MS Windows 3.11 installation program to install the calculator programs directly on the HP 48. All files can be accessed from any MS-DOS PC.

Palmtop Software Kit CD

The Yellow CD contains a wealth of software, shareware and freeware for the HP 100, 200 and 700LX.

	The TransFile data transfer program for Windows 95 which can be used to copy files between the palmtop and a desktop PC.
	Windows applications of the Appointment, Phonebook and Calculator applications of the palmtop which can work with the same datafiles.
	Lots of shareware and freeware.
	And a bunch of Project Gutenberg electronic texts which can be read on the palmtop.

The CD can be used on any DOS PC.
