HP 360LX Palmtop PC

 The
HP 360LX Palmtop PC is using the MicroSoft Windows CE 2.0 operating system.
The built-in software allows easy synchronization of data between the HP
360LX and the desktop PC running Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0. However,
compared to the HP 200LX palmtop, the number of available software titles
are currently quite limited. While the 200LX as well as the other DOS-compatible
palmtops from HP can use a broad range of available DOS software, the new
Windows CE palmtop can only use software which was written especially for
the Windows CE operating system. Windows 95 or Windows NT software can
not be used under Windows CE.

Note that the 640 x 240 LCD display is the largest available display
on todays Windows CE palmtops, and only this width allows the display of
80 characters per line. This is useful not only when reading or writing
documents, but also when visiting Web pages.
The HP 360LX is available as English version with QWERTY keyboard
layout, and as German version with German software and manuals with QWERTZ keyboard
layout.
