The following are some sites that you may find interesting. Most of them are dedicated to the Windows CE Handheld computers.

HP Web PageHP Handhelds
This is the new Hewlett-Packard Handhelds web site which contains lots of information about the HP palmtops and calculators.

MicroSoftMicrosoft
The Microsoft Web site contains interesting information, software, and development tools for Windows CE.

Palmtop Paper logoThe homepage of Thaddeus Computing, publisher of The HP Palmtop Paper and the Handheld PC Magazine, contains lots of information about mobile computing, including an online version of their magazines, freeware and shareware programs, links to other palmtop-related sites, and FAQ (frequently asked questions) files.

Software for the Handheld PCs like the HP Jornada 720 can be found by following the links on http://handheldpcs.superboxes.com.

Windows CE resources
The Windows CE web site contains lots of freeware and shareware programs for the Windows CE palmtops, including the HP machines, and also lots of interesting information about hardware, the operating system and new software.

Windows CE Online
The Windows CE Online site has one of the best collections of freeware and shareware.

WinCE City has lots of interesting stuff to offer, discussion boards for anything related to Windows CE, product reviews, tips, tricks, and links to other Windows CE sites.

CEMonster is a section of PDA Central. It is easy to use and offers lots of well-categorized freeware and shareware applications for download.

Craig Peacock's Windows CE site contains a number of useful 'how-to' articles, a good FAQ section and many links to other Windows CE sites.

The web site of Chris de Herrera contains many articles about Windows CE, technical details about PC card modems, FAQs, and different sections for the different versions of Windows CE, Palm-size PCs and Auto PCs. The site is Pocket Internet Explorer friendly.

For programmers: Jungo's WinDriver for Windows CE driver development toolkit automates and simplifies the development of Windows CE device drivers for PCI / CardBus / ISA / ISAPnP / EISA and CompactPCI. Knowledge about OS internals or kernel level programming is not required.

The Gadgeteer
The Gadgeteer is an interesting site with lots of information about all kinds of electronic products ("gadgets"), including the HP 200LX, Windows CE palmtops, digital cameras, and many others. You will find descriptions and technical data as well as reviews and user ratings.

 

Newsgroups

There are a bunch of NewsGroups on the Usenet which discuss all aspects of Windows CE software and hardware. Simply search for "Windows CE" or "WinCE" or "PocketPC".
