The Sharp Zaurus supports a CompactFlash (CF) type 2 card in its top slot and a Secure Digital (SD) card in the left slot. Both cards can be inserted at the same time. If you plan to use a modem, network or camera card in the CompactFlash slot, you should plan on getting a SD memory card instead of a CF card for storage.

The IBM Microdrives have been tested to work in the Zaurus, but power consumption is quite high. We would not recommend to leave a Microdrive in the Zaurus for extended periods of time.
